Call to Artists
Theme: Florida Culture and History
Lake County Museum of Art invites Lake County artists to participate in their juried exhibition showcasing Florida-themed artwork. Cash awards will be presented to the first-place winners in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional categories.
Exhibition will premiere during the "Flamingos & Pearls" Celebration and Fundraiser, Friday, October 3, 2025 from 6pm to 9pm. Exhibition dates: October 4 – November 1, 2025.
Submission Requirements
• All entrants must be over 21 years of age and be Lake County residents.
• All works entered must be your original concept and design.
• Photography must be of fine art quality.
• Maximum size for two-dimensional work is 36" x 48"
• All mediums considered, including sculpture, jewelry, and wearable art.
• Each artist may submit up to three (3) pieces.
Deadlines:
• All entries must be received in jpg format (no larger than 3MB) by 5pm September 12, 2025.
- LABEL EACH JPG you submit in this format: Last name, first initial, title, medium, size, price.
- LCMA will deduct a 30% commission on all sold works. Please set your prices accordingly.
• Email jpg files to info@LakeArtMuseum.com
• This is a juried exhibit; not all entries will be accepted. You will be notified by email on September 19, 2025, as to what submission(s) have been accepted. Once your piece(s) has been accepted, please follow the framing instructions below.
• Accepted submissions need to be delivered September 29, 2025, 11am-2pm, and picked up November 3, 2025, 11am-2pm. Please email info@LakeArtMuseum to make other arrangements.
Fee to enter (up to three entries):
• $40 - includes 1 ticket to Flamingos & Pearls plus an LCMA individual membership ($90 value)
Framing Instructions
• The maximum size for two-dimensional work is 36 X 48. All two-dimensional work must be wired for hanging. Unframed gallery-wrapped canvas is acceptable, but must have wire hanging hardware.
• Please include stands for 3-D work if required for display.
• Please label each piece on the back with Name, Title, Medium, Size, Price, your email address and phone
