General Guidelines
Lake County Museum of Art invites its members to participate in its annual juried members-only exhibit. "The Artist's Perspective" exhibition will run from December 5, 2025, through January 31, 2026. The opening reception will be on Friday, December 5th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Cash awards will be presented to "Best in Show" 2-dimensional and "Best in Show" 3-dimensional. LCMA will deduct a 30% commission on all sold works. Please set your prices accordingly.
Submission Requirements • Each artist may submit up to three (3) pieces. Each submission is $15.00, payable through this link: CLICK HERE!
• All entries must be received in jpg format by Friday, November 21, 2025 (no larger than 3MB).
- PLEASE LABEL each jpg you submit in this format: Last name, first initial, title, medium, size, price.
- Please email jpg files to info@LakeArtMuseum.com
• All entrants must be 14 years or older and a member of LCMA. Artists under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a release for their entries. You can become a member when you register your pieces using the link above.
• All mediums considered, including jewelry and wearable art.
• Artwork needs to be original and created within the last three years. No works created in a class or a workshop.
• Maximum size for two-dimensional work is 48 x 48.
• This is a juried exhibit; not all entries will be accepted. You will be notified by email on November 24, 2025, as to which submission(s) have been accepted. Once your piece(s) has been accepted, please follow the framing instructions below.
Framing Instructions
• The maximum size for two-dimensional work is 48 X 48. All two-dimensional work must be wired for hanging. Unframed gallery-wrapped canvas is acceptable, but must have wire hanging hardware.
• Please include stands for 3-D work if required for display.
• Please label each piece on the back with Name, Title, Medium, Size, Price, your email address, and phone
• Accepted submissions need to be dropped off on Monday, December 1st, from 3 pm to 5 pm or Tuesday, December 2nd, from 10 am to 12 noon. Please email info@LakeArtMuseum to make other arrangements.
